Our Roots
Our program was built by mental health professionals and public school educators, giving us unique perspectives that many other programs lack: grassroots experience working directly in the fields of both education and mental health, with insights gained from invaluable real-world experience.
Instead of providing schools and communities with a set curriculum that broadly addresses the current mental health crisis, we meet the community on their level and in their spaces, adapting our services to address the mental health issues specific to that community. This approach helps remove barriers that have traditionally blocked families from accessing mental health resources, expediting our implementation of long-lasting change.
Just as seeds need enriched soil and constant nourishment, we know that by enriching our children’s environment and teaching them the importance of mental, emotional, and physical health, as well as fostering community engagement and support, we will create resilient future pillars of the community.
We know that our organization has the ability to change the future—and realities—of children and their families.
