Our Roots

When we chose the name for our organization, we wanted to make sure we always kept our mission at the heart of what we do. SEEDS stands for Serve, Educate, and Empower Diverse Students–and this is where our passion lies. Just as seeds need enriched soil and constant nourishment, we know that by enriching our children’s environment and teaching them the importance of mental, emotional, and physical health, community engagement and support, we will create resilient future pillars of the community.

We know that our organization has the ability to change the future—and realities—of children and their families.
